 We are assisting overseas nurses Registered General Nurses with Mental Health experience and Registered Mental Health Nurses

Orange Health Service, Bloomfield Campus

Mental Health Nursing posts

Criteria

1. Experienced mental health nurses RMN or general nurses with Mental Health experience in any of the units outlined below 
2. General nurses working in elderly Dementia care 
3. General nurses working  willing to be trained to work in Mental Health 

Australian Registration (APRHA) 

We will interview nurses who have APHRA nurse registration and assist nurses who are not registered to register.

Bloomfield Campus

The service is part of the re-development of Orange and Bathurst Hospitals and the previous Bloomfield Hospital. As a result of the redevelopment Bloomfield is developing new and exciting services for the people who might need to use their facilities and therefore creates exciting job opportunities for staff. For that reason, we hope that you enjoy working in this exciting time for mental health.

A new Orange Health Service is currently under development on Forest Road at the present Bloomfield campus and will consist of acute, community and allied health services from the existing Orange Base Hospital as well as Mental Health Services. Some services will remain in their present location, including Community Mental Health (Curran Centre) and Alcohol & Other Drug Services at Kite Street.

• If you are under 31 you will travel on a Working Holiday maker visa which will be converted to a 4 year 457 visa on arrival.
• 457 four year visa for nurses over 31 who do not have children of school going age which will be converted to PR when in Australia according to Immigration time frames. 
• Permanent Residency for nurses with Children of School going age (Will be negotiated on an individual basis)

Prince of Wales Hospital, Campus, Randwick, Sydney

The Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Inpatient Services are situated on the Prince of Wales Hospital Campus, a short distance from Coogee and Bondi Beaches.

 The Service has a 50 bedded Acute Mental Health Centre, 4 Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre beds (24 to 48 hrs admission unit), an 8 bedded Aged Care Acute/Neuro psychiatry Unit, and a Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit of 14 beds. At this time there are a number of inpatient vacancies for experienced mental health nurses, or general nurses with mental health experience.

In 2012 a new 12 bedded Mental Health Intensive Care unit, and an 8 bedded Child and Adolescent in patient unit, will also be opening.
